Today's papers are full of pictures of a woman who looks remarkably like Victoria Beckham arriving at Mascot airport yesterday morning.
Could Posh have decided to make a surprise visit down under to accompany Becks?
Errr… no. The lady ambushed by the paparazzi was not Posh at all. She is in fact the "the Imposhter", 26-year-old Victoria Beckham impersonator Camilla Shadbolt.
Journos have been speculating on who’s brought her out. Was it the Chaser crew as The Sydney Morning Herald speculated? Or was it David Beckham's own people cleverly using Camilla as a decoy for his own arrival as was reported overnight by Perez Hilton?
No folks, it was us. When it occurred to us a few weeks ago that the launch of The Fix was going to coincide with Becks' visit to Australia, and that Posh would not be joining him on the trip, we thought we'd arrange for the next best thing to be in town.
We thought that having Camilla in town at the same time as Becks might cause a stir, but we had no idea everyone from the media to the public would be fooled by our Imposhter.

6uh..that woman looks nothing like Vicki. In the top pictures,maybe, but only because she has the same haircut, wears big sunglasses and the pictures are grainy. In the last picture you can see how much she doesnt look like her. Her nose is a dead give away. Anyone could pull this off by just cutting their hair like that, putting on some sunglasses, a black seath dress and some pumps...not hard. I cant believe poeple were actually fooled by this. I would believe that blow up doll was her more than this woman.

8If it weren't for the hair she would not look a lot like her. I can see how she does look like Victoria but I would not make a mistake of thinking it really was Posh if I saw this woman in a crowd.....maybe I would mistake her from a distance but not up close.
